And i have another problem in Dreamy pool quest, when i tried to do quest to “see what Naomi is doing near Lyriel bedroom in the evening”, i went in Naomi room, click her but it said “Not Now”.
Caits early game quests are currently bugged but have been fixed in v8.0.1r2
In regards to Dreamy Pool, you might have to do other quests to get Naomi to come out of her room. Sometimes there's an overlap of triggers and you need to do some other quests to untangle it.

As for Highres vs Compressed, exact same content just the compressed version is lower in quality.
caits quests are completely broken on 0.8 if youre new, like the first cait story quest pops up an error which breaks any attempt to start part 2. you have to complete part 1 (maybe part 2) on an older version then move to 0.8
However, I discovered that when you have the notebook open, the ahitr.log file starts filling with duplicate blocks of text until you close the notebook. I was spending a lot of time in the notebook during my playthrough. After 111 in-game days, the ahitr.log file grew to about 330MB, which is insane for a text log. This seems like a bug to me.
I'm not a renpy/python expert, but it feels like there's a loop somewhere in the notebook code that's not exiting properly and is just spitting out the same 5-20 lines of text into the log until you either:
change the page (then a different block of text gets repeated into the log).
you exit the notebook.
I'm on the PC version (Windows 10.)
I noticed it first in version 0.7.19r2. I have version 0.7.21r2 now, and I'm still seeing the same behavior.
Let me know if you need more info or a copy of the log file (the large one compresses down to less than 1MB). Or, is there another place I should report this bug?

There's no Chinese language option in game. Currently, localization isn't a top priority. Down the road we would like to have a few languages in the game, however it will most likely be machine translated if we did pursue translations.

Might be a stupid question but i'll ask it anyway.
I set the payment to 10$ 142days ago, but since there was a 20% 'discount', i can't download the newest versions anymore because it made me pay 8 instead back then. Seems strange to me that that's how it works, when a purchased product loses it's discount the product shouldn't stop being available.
Anyway, does spending 2$ more make them available, or does it need to be 10 again? because if i enter 2$ as payment it doesn't show anything of my last payment and greys out most download options as a preview.
I believe it needs to be in one payment to gain that particular tier downloaded (not something that we can control, unfortunately).
However, if you've purchased the premium version in the past, you should have access to the current versions. In the "Buy Now" section there should be a small print at the very bottom that shows "I've already purchased this..", follow the on screen prompts and you should be good to go!
hey, ive got a new pc, is there any like complete version download so i dont have to re-do everything? ive had the whole story completed and i dont want to spend another multiple hours to do it
If you have access to your old PC, you can upload your saves to a file sharing/storage site like Google Drive, MEGA etc and then transfer the saves to the new PC (or chuck em on a USB).
Saves are located in AHITR/Game/Saves (If not you can find em in a backup folder: AppData\Roaming\RenPy\AHouseintheRift).
Once your saves have been downloaded you can transfer them into the above folders and resume.
Other than that, we don't have any saves here. We do have a save on our Discord server, pinned in our help channel, that has everything up to 7.4, not ideal but beats starting fresh if you don't have the saves.

PS: As respectful suggestions, I would say:
1- Try to make the translation (Spanish in my case) continuous, meaning that the conversation I'm in is completely in one language so that it's easier to understand the conversation. Although the Spanish translation was relatively good, I would like you to work a little on the context of the conversation because sometimes the subtitles didn't make sense.
2- In the diary, tell me exactly what I have to do in other stories in order to advance with a character. I say this because a while ago I had to ask if there was more content for a character because it said there was nothing else for her, and they replied that I should advance with other characters, and that was indeed the case.
3- In Lyriel's case, I would like to see more work done on the theme of domination, in the sense that there are more “orders,” but she does them of her own free will, especially the, um, how can I put it, other hole XD (I would also like this for the other characters, but it's less important). I don't know, working more on this theme with her in general would be very good for me.

Every hour spent in this game was met with thunderous applause — the claps wrapped around the Earth and returned straight to my home. Every aspect of the game was simply wonderful — from the character designs to their personalities and the overall story.
The 18+ scenes were pure sweetness and delight. Zeus knows, my fellow co-gooner, it’s rare to witness such quality content.
I won’t lie, I was a bit taken aback by the hugging and hand-holding scenes. You really should have warned us about the hardcore stuff.
I really liked the succubus and the elf. Their character designs were done very well! As for favorite moments, I'm not sure. I liked almost everything :)
Currently have no other reports of this happening. I'd recommend, if you haven't already, checking to see if your GPU has any pending updates. You can try changing the renderer in-game to see it that helps (Shift + G, change renderer, save and restart).

You can use a file sharing site to upload it. (Google Drive, MEGA etc, make sure the link isn't private and can be shared).

Saves carry over automatically! All you have to do is boot the new version up and they should sync over!
(If you need a manual backup, saves are located in AHITR/Game/Saves on PC and "ahitr_storage" on Android).
I can't believe how much content this has. This is a huge game and it's not even close to the v1 release. Support the devs however you can!

Usually if you can't get a quest to trigger or get a particular character somewhere specific, you'll need to do other quests first.
If you have any other quests in your log, try those first and let me know that helped.

Thanks for the screenshots. I'd recommend trying some of the other quests and trying again, it might be conflicting with another quest trigger.
Has anyone encountered flickering screen when playing on itch.io? Downloaded 7.21.

Currently have no other reports of this happening. I'd recommend, if you haven't already, checking to see if your GPU has any pending updates. You can try changing the renderer in-game to see it that helps (Shift + G, change renderer, save and restart).
