Im not sure if I did the update correctly but I downloaded 8.01 and extracted the files. I moved the log and ahitr text files to the folder with the new update but I doesnt seem to be updated. The notebook still says to wait for future updates. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!
I’ve got two bugs to report. Firstly, and more importantly, I am stuck on the “Learning The Ropes” quest. It says to “Rest and try again”, but it’s been several in-game days now and I haven’t found how to “try again”. I talked to Rae at every time of day, tried the doors again, even tried going a full day just standing in my room then sleeping, but no luck. What am I supposed to do? Or is it broken?
Secondly, a more minor issue, but the “Rae’s morning show(er)” quest appeared basically immediately, and is definitely not true yet. The door is firmly closed, and trying to go in gives a “too low” message. I’m pretty sure that quest isn’t supposed to appear yet.
Some quests will require you to progress the quests of other characters first, and then try again. Some quests will appear and you'll need to raise stats to start/finish them.
For the two issues you've mentioned, have you tried raising her lewdness?

Por alguna razon, cada vez que bajo la pestaña de notificaciones, o salgo unos instantes del juego dejandolo en segundo plano, el mismo crashea/queda congelado y me veo forzado a cerrar la app y volver a iniciar el juego (el cual tarda un rato en iniciar porque dice que esta descomprimiendo archivos). No se si sera algo unico de mi caso o a demas usuarios de android les pasa lo mismo.

Esto podría deberse a Renpy o a la configuración de la versión de Android. Esto también puede variar según el dispositivo. Lamentablemente, no tenemos una solución por ahora, quizás en el futuro.

The game contents are the exact same and save files work regardless of highres or compressed. The difference between high res and compressed is the image and video quality is lower/compressed, therefore giving it a much lower file size.

This was a bug, that has been fixed for version 8.0.1! (Which dropped yesterday here on Itch! But I see you snagged the Patreon version :) )
If you're updating here on Itch, you'll need to download the full game, unzip and run. Saves carry over automatically!
However, on our Patreon, you'll have the option to grab a patch, which updates from x version to x. You can only update high res patch for the high res game, and compressed for compressed, you cannot mix and match. Drop the patch into the AHITR folder that has the .exe, run the patch and follow on the onscreen prompts. It'll take a few mins but once finished you can boot the game up again and it'll be updated to the latest version!
With recent changes here on Itch for adult games, we've had to approach releasing content here a bit differently, which is why you might see less options or waiting a tad bit longer for the versions to drop here. We're still figuring out stuff for those who had previously purchased the game here.

Hey, having a problem with the sound when i start a new save.
When the starting cutscene on Earth ends, the screeching sound effect of the weird black hole things keeps playing even in the house. Restarting the save doesn't fix it, it starts playing again after i load the save, and even after i tried starting another new save, the same glitch occurred.
Nevermind, was able to fix it. Seems to have happened because i didn't click through all the dialogue before the cutscene ended? Either that or because i was skipping.
I had another look at your save and it appears you've already completed the latest story chapters for Yona (16 and 17) in the completed tab of your journal.
wish I could download it but my device doesn't have much storage and all I have to offer of deleting is the system cores and data which I rather not do, but I will download the games file once I have enough storage on a newer device and I look forward to testing the game itself in the later future

im assuming this isnt intended but somehow just after i started the game when I entered the house it has this horrible white noise sound that has not ended.
Yes, that's the sound of the rift that fails to stop. It happened to me too, and to fix it you have to make a new game and end all the dialogue before the rift animation ends, but not too fast otherwise it doesn't "register" properly. It happens also with the "lewd" music sometime, the fix is the same, but you have to reload: a rollback won't work.
Cait is a close second for me. Lyriel is growing on me. I'm waiting for the plot point of her ears since that is fairly standard in elves in games like this i've noticed.

The Alpha build of a new version is released at the start of each month. About a week later the Beta build is released. Then after another week the Early Access version is released. Then about a month later this version goes free and public. This is our Patreon schedule, the free version drops everywhere else a bit later.
However, due to recent changes on Itch in regards to NSFW games, we've had to approach releases a bit differently, so you'll see the next version drop here a bit later than usual.
Feels like it might have been developed for VR though, judging by the scenes. FP POV scenes are still sweet... but for we normal mortals who play normally, I would love to see some third person scenes, blocked, paced, lit, and animated/shot like the best adult film... it does not have to be Blake or Salieri, but Brazzers will do... I am basically in love with Cait, Lyriel and Rae at this point... but Yona seems to be the only one with scenes which allow me a full view of the experience :P
Perhaps this 1st Person nature was a work around to avoid having to design and MC, which means any player can paint their own, and imagine themselves in the game? I can appreciate that if so, though I think it might still be my preference to have the adult scenes at least be 3rd Person. I would not care if I looked like a syphillitc teleltubby or something.. still worth it, to get a deep complex scene of such a nature from that third eye view as to really enjoy the splendour of the three gorgeous girls (yeah, three... Yona, Naomi and Blair din nea do it fa me ya ken? :P ... though my dyslexic side appreciates Naomi for her name... which is sometimes.. I Moan.. am I right :P).
But this game is long, and immersive, and wonderfully done overall. I think there should be some QOL improvements though, like hint menu. I took 146 days to work out I collected money for my dinner date with Rae from my bbedroom closet, after finally realising I was not going to find it automatically in the course of exploring other pathways related to MSQ and the girls.
All in all, this is a SOLID 9/10 and only because it is NOT finished. When it is, especially if the scenes get some decent 3rd person action, and DEFINITELY if they add VA the way one of the devs mentioned below.. this will be a 1000/10 game.
I eagerly await to see where this goes.

I can't comment on possible third person scenes, but I believe the goal with having a faceless MC is exactly what you mentioned in regards to making them your own character/self insert/etc.
We know that people will like/dislike certain girls in the house, and that's fair! Which is why we aimed for a diverse cast, with their unique looks and personalities.
We have been tackling QoL stuff within the game (like the latest version over on Patreon, that has a lewdness tracker!) and polishing/revamping some earlier scenes too.

what's with the screeching static noise after the lab accident in at the beginning? Is this intentional, or an audio error? Either way, it's horrible. the game looks good, but this alone is the opposite of a hook. The sound is giving me a headache and it makes me want to uninstall
the only thing that works is the music. all other audio is nonexistent.
I see from the comments that it's fixed in the most recent patreon version. That's not motivational, it just smells like a cash grab. I get that it's probably not, bot honestly, why did you release anything with such an immersion-breaking bug?
This is indeed fixed in the most recent versions of the game, which will eventually make their way to itch, as do all versions of the game!
Itch has always been a bit behind when it comes to releases, as Patreon is our primary platform. However, with recent changes to Itch with NSFW games, we've had to approach things a bit different with recent updates, which we're hoping to get back to some normality soon, so you might see a delay with the updates here on Itch until then.
For now, I'd recommend turning off the SFX as there isn't many in the game to begin with (There is a dream with lewd sfw and another that's voiced, but for the most part, you can disable them).
Recently, we've been doing some housekeeping updates that tackle some early game tweaks and sometimes things just break. Bugs like that can and will pass through testing and its reports from the playerbase/community that make us aware they exist so we can fix them.
Hello! First of all, thank you for all the hard work that has been put into developing this excellent game. I've been following (mostly lurking) since the early days and have been really satisfied with the journey!
Very recently I upgraded my machine and had to start over with a new game. I understand that the lewdness system has been recently revamped and I think something has gone wrong with the backend - I encounter an error everytime I talk with Rae to ask for anal, and Lyriel's lewdness is stuck at Useful Elf chapter 5.
Is this only a bug on my end, or has a patch been released addressing these? If not then I'll just wait for the next update. Thanks again and keep up the amazing work!

ok im gonna give this game a 9/10 and its not a 10/10 because of the lack of audio but damn dude youve achieved what i hate in those game in general and its the women theyre all different have different flaws ,qualities ,body types and damn thats a rare thing honestly.

This is prolly one of my favorite games I've played but I justed to wanted to ask when will Raes story continue? Her story is my favorite and would love to see if we can confess after the rooftop convo but the games great and I can see u guys put a lot of time into it so keep it up dawg

Cool so just to be clear on what the link says, even if I downloaded it before, I need the launcher again to update the new file into it?
If you already have the .rpa, just download the launcher, run it and follow the onscreen instructions.
For future updates, you drop the latest .rpa into the same folder, delete the old .rpa and launch the game.

This was a bug that was fixed in 8.0.2.
What version of the game are you on? Could you also upload a save?
You can find your save in the AHITR folder > game > saves.
Saves will look like "5-2-LT1.save".
The first number of a save indicates their page number and the second the save slot itself. So 5-2-LT1.save would be the 5th page, and save slot #2.
You can upload your save file to any file sharing site of your choosing, just please make sure its not set to private!

There's not many sfx in the game (Outside of a few dreams) so you're not missing out on much by turning it off for now.

We would like to add Chinese as a language option sometime, but localization isn't a top priority right now. If we do, it would be via machine translation.

Our release schedule is:
The Alpha build of a new version is released at the start of each month. About a week later the Beta build is released. Then after another week the Early Access version is released. Then about a month later this version goes free and public. This is our Patreon schedule, the free version drops everywhere else a bit later.
However, due to recent changes on Itch in regards to NSFW games, we've had to approach releases a bit differently, so you'll see the next version drop here a bit later than usual.
Love this game, it is amazing.
Feels like it might have been developed for VR though, judging by the scenes. FP POV scenes are still sweet... but for we normal mortals who play normally, I would love to see some third person scenes, blocked, paced, lit, and animated/shot like the best adult film... it does not have to be Blake or Salieri, but Brazzers will do... I am basically in love with Cait, Lyriel and Rae at this point... but Yona seems to be the only one with scenes which allow me a full view of the experience :P
Perhaps this 1st Person nature was a work around to avoid having to design and MC, which means any player can paint their own, and imagine themselves in the game? I can appreciate that if so, though I think it might still be my preference to have the adult scenes at least be 3rd Person. I would not care if I looked like a syphillitc teleltubby or something.. still worth it, to get a deep complex scene of such a nature from that third eye view as to really enjoy the splendour of the three gorgeous girls (yeah, three... Yona, Naomi and Blair din nea do it fa me ya ken? :P ... though my dyslexic side appreciates Naomi for her name... which is sometimes.. I Moan.. am I right :P).
But this game is long, and immersive, and wonderfully done overall. I think there should be some QOL improvements though, like hint menu. I took 146 days to work out I collected money for my dinner date with Rae from my bbedroom closet, after finally realising I was not going to find it automatically in the course of exploring other pathways related to MSQ and the girls.
All in all, this is a SOLID 9/10 and only because it is NOT finished. When it is, especially if the scenes get some decent 3rd person action, and DEFINITELY if they add VA the way one of the devs mentioned below.. this will be a 1000/10 game.
I eagerly await to see where this goes.

I can't comment on possible third person scenes, but I believe the goal with having a faceless MC is exactly what you mentioned in regards to making them your own character/self insert/etc.
We know that people will like/dislike certain girls in the house, and that's fair! Which is why we aimed for a diverse cast, with their unique looks and personalities.
We have been tackling QoL stuff within the game (like the latest version over on Patreon, that has a lewdness tracker!) and polishing/revamping some earlier scenes too.

so i downloaded the new version and its not showing the new quest or anything i dont know how to fix it i have redownloaded it twice and it wont work

what's with the screeching static noise after the lab accident in at the beginning? Is this intentional, or an audio error? Either way, it's horrible. the game looks good, but this alone is the opposite of a hook. The sound is giving me a headache and it makes me want to uninstall
the only thing that works is the music. all other audio is nonexistent.
I see from the comments that it's fixed in the most recent patreon version. That's not motivational, it just smells like a cash grab. I get that it's probably not, bot honestly, why did you release anything with such an immersion-breaking bug?

This is indeed fixed in the most recent versions of the game, which will eventually make their way to itch, as do all versions of the game!
Itch has always been a bit behind when it comes to releases, as Patreon is our primary platform. However, with recent changes to Itch with NSFW games, we've had to approach things a bit different with recent updates, which we're hoping to get back to some normality soon, so you might see a delay with the updates here on Itch until then.
For now, I'd recommend turning off the SFX as there isn't many in the game to begin with (There is a dream with lewd sfw and another that's voiced, but for the most part, you can disable them).
Recently, we've been doing some housekeeping updates that tackle some early game tweaks and sometimes things just break. Bugs like that can and will pass through testing and its reports from the playerbase/community that make us aware they exist so we can fix them.
Hello! First of all, thank you for all the hard work that has been put into developing this excellent game. I've been following (mostly lurking) since the early days and have been really satisfied with the journey!
Very recently I upgraded my machine and had to start over with a new game. I understand that the lewdness system has been recently revamped and I think something has gone wrong with the backend - I encounter an error everytime I talk with Rae to ask for anal, and Lyriel's lewdness is stuck at Useful Elf chapter 5.
Is this only a bug on my end, or has a patch been released addressing these? If not then I'll just wait for the next update. Thanks again and keep up the amazing work!

Both have the exact same game contents, just the compressed lowers the overall picture/video quality, giving it a lower file size.
ok im gonna give this game a 9/10 and its not a 10/10 because of the lack of audio but damn dude youve achieved what i hate in those game in general and its the women theyre all different have different flaws ,qualities ,body types and damn thats a rare thing honestly.
and the writing is very great i loovee rae and naomi story honestly cant wait for more keep this up you guys are rocking this

This is prolly one of my favorite games I've played but I justed to wanted to ask when will Raes story continue? Her story is my favorite and would love to see if we can confess after the rooftop convo but the games great and I can see u guys put a lot of time into it so keep it up dawg
