Hello, my phone broke, and I transferred my saves to a new one. While the saves work, the gallery appears empty. Do I need to restart he game to restore my gallery?
The gallery scenes are tied to the "persistent" file. If you don't have a backup of that, sadly you'll have to restart the game to collect the gallery scenes.
I have a backup of the persistent file, and I copied it. While most of the gallery has been restored, there are still some missing scenes. It's a bit funny since the later scenes are unlocked, but the ones from the beginning are still missing.

After a short while, IDK, my saves got messed up and upon loading the saves, the names of characters were showing "???". So, after a long time, i.e. now, I decided to start a new game. I deleted all my saves for a fresh start. But some random gallery scenes are still accessible. How do I do a clean wipe of the game and my saves?

If you're looking for a clean install on Windows: Delete the entire saves folder within your AHITR folder, and, be sure to delete the folder in the Renpy folder within the Roaming folder that's in the Appdata folder (Windows key + R and search "appdata").
Damn that's a shame, you should try getting it on steam, the adult games market is getting bigger and bigger every day, it would be good to try and get it out there
If you check/rummage through the closet/wardrobe in your room, you should be able to find money. Might take a few runs to get the necessary amount of dosh.
I downloaded 7.0 and 7.1 on both my computer and said that the file was corrupted, I repaired the files, extracted them and I can klick like a madman but it won't run the game.
I'm having a similar-ish issue. No "file corruption", but "AHouseInTheRift-0.7.1r2-pc" (from itch and patreon) almost immediately gets a pop up with "ahitr.exe has stopped working" when I try to run it (not sure why when previous versions have worked just fine...).

Just to be sure, have you downloaded and used the correct version? (Like if you were previously using the compressed version, you downloaded the compressed patch or the next compressed version, and not, say, the hi-res version to upgrade the compressed and vice versa).

I have tried with the itch app even though i had to rewrite my Linux kernel to make it not run in GPU sandbox mode. Ill give it a bit more time and try again.

Hey Idfk10, sorry you're having issues launching the game. Sometimes it does take a while to initialize, however, if it persists, closing down the launcher and restarting usually helps.
Also, if you're updating from a previous version, make sure the old RPA file is deleted, as it will try to unpack everything at once.
If that still causes issues, can you make sure all the necessary app permissions are in place and try reinstalling the launcher?

Hey Michxc! You're pretty much spot on. The compressed version just lowers the overall quality/size of the renders/game to make it easier/faster to download. The content remains the same, but the visual quality is a bit lower.

Really good game! I am loving all character, specialy Rae. But I am stuck in the sidemission Manga Research Club pt 2. Every time Lyriel is suposed to be on Cait's room she just disapear and i cant find her anywhere.
