Hello, I got the game back in September. Seeing as how there is now an update, I am wondering how I go about updating it without getting rid of my current save?
Yea, but My Game folder only has the rpa and the only saves that i have look different from others and are way heavier(prob because i save a Lot), maybe i did something wrong while installing??
We would eventually like to have a few language options in the game, butlocalization isn't a top priority right now. It would be with machine translations if we pursued it, though.
IDK if there is a good way to submit feedback but the game has a serious bug with regards to tracking day ending events. Say you start an event that will end the day in the Evening sometimes it'll also trigger an event that is going to randomly happen at night. Then when it gets to morning you get the conclusion to one event and have to go to sleep the next night to get the conclusion to the next event. You need some kind of flag that keeps events from firing off and breaking the story sequence.

The main story of AHITR is still on going right now! Each character has their own story too, on top of a bunch of side content.
If you were to hop in right now (and an average reading speed) you're looking at around 30-35 hours of content.
Completely understandable if you'd prefer waiting until everything is rounded off. Right now 8.0.6 is its Alpha phase over on Patreon. Our release schedule is the following:
The Alpha build of a new version is released at the start of each month. About a week later the Beta build is released. Then after another week the Early Access version is released. Then about a month later this version goes free and public. This is our Patreon schedule, it lands here on Itch a bit later due to how adult games are now handled here.

I believe you gotta wait for her limited time banner to return and pray to the RNG gods that you can pull her before pity kicks in. Since she's a limited time character you'll have to use Encrypted Master Tapes.
This has become one of my favorite stories ever. Characters are extremely well done, artwork is both pretty and impactful, music is nice, just a very well done game.
With that said, I do have one minor comment/suggestion (with as few details as possible to avoid any spoiling):
There’s a beat right towards the end of Lyriel’s story that feels like there should be an additional dialog option. Cait’s is in a hurry to talk in the morning and comes out not fully dressed. And the options for that spot are telling her it’s inappropriate or being a bit of a lech, neither of which make her look very happy. It really feels like there should be a non-judgemental ‘good morning’ option there; I was rather surprised to only see the 2 options since there’s almost always 3.
It is probably trivial, but given how natural most all of the dialog feels, it stood out more than it otherwise might. Anyways, the game is genuinely wonderful and I very much look forward to seeing more of it. Thanks very much.
Rae’s my favorite, though Lyriel and Cait are close behind. As for moments, not sure that I have a favorite one. Lots of them are just wonderful. For example, city stuff with Rae was always quite nice, Cait’s puzzle was fun, and taking Lyriel to the park was a lovely bit of storytelling.
Can anyone help me. I can't progress through Naomi's quest Nursing big boys since it says "Nothing new there" when I try to enter Naomi's room and thought I could just ignore it but now I can't do Rae's story ch. 16 since I basically can't enter Naomi's room. Lowkey it's frustrating

We identified the issue, where it was looping/not completing chapter 18, and showing 19 in the log. This save will put you on the actual chapter 19 of her story and allow you to continue without any further issues.

for some reason, I can't download the archive with the game on my PC. at the end of the download, I see a message saying that the download was interrupted.

Naomi goes through routine locations in morning/afternoon, but every evening she is in her room, changing clothes and only says "Not Now" when I try to talk to her. No other options present themselves that I can find. Tried talking to all other girls during this time, but nothing changes.

Saves carry over automatically, all you have to do is load up the new version and your saves should sync over.
You can make a manual backup if you'd like by going to where AHITR is > Game > Saves. (And then placing them in the new location).

This was a bug that cropped up recently, thankfully this has been fixed for 8.0.5r1!
So basically, it's unfixable?

What version of the game are you on? Could you share your save file? You can find your saves in the AHITR folder > Game > Saves.

Once downloaded, you can extract and run. This will sync your saves automatically.
Close the game and go into the AHITR folder > Game > Saves.
You can drop the save I sent into that saves folder.
The fixed save will be on the 5th page in the 5th slot.

This is a known bug that has been fixed for version 8.0.5r1!
I'd recommend leaving that quest for now and doing everything else that comes your way or is currently in your log.

If you want to back a manual back up, saves are located in AHITR - Game - Saves (PC) and ahitr_storage (Android)
