I really hate the space dream . Ive never got any of the unlocks in over 12 playthroughs of the story and now i just skip through it.
Its a useless part of the game now. Its not fun its annoying. Making the player fail over and over forcing to read the same crap in hopes you can complete it is not fun. I have given up on it completely
While doing the archive quests I was told I'd have 5 dreams in the future, but only had one with Rowen so far, do I need to do something special to trigger them?
And also stuck at useful elf chapter 7 where the hint is something like let her come to you, I made more than 30 days pass trying to trigger the dreams or the elf but nothing new happens.
We're gradually adding the other dreams over time, for now it's just the one dream.
Also, if you're having issues getting a particular quest to work, it might be that it has an overlapping trigger with another quest. Try progressing other gals or anything with Lyriel and it should eventually trigger the actual quest itself!
Thanks Eldjötnar, that quest is the only remaining. I have no other. I've tried every interaction possible in the house with Lyriel and it still does not trigger. Any other ideas?

A little fun fact with Naomi and her nipples! They were a different colour initially, due to lore reasons (her witch blood). However, this confused a bunch of people so we ended up changing them.

On the PC version you could try changing your renderer in game to see it it helps (Shift + G, this will require a restart after choosing). Other than that, performance will vary depending on your device(s).
Hello, when I try to open the game, it doesn´t launch. It´s just this game in particular that doesn´t do anything, It doesn´t even give me an error message, it just doesn´t load at all, not even appearing in the task manager.
I'd make sure that the game hasn't corrupted during download or any anti-virus software has tried to quarantine the game too. Some anti-virus software can flag the game as a false threat.
Alternatively, if you're using the Itch app, you could try downloading the zip file on its own or try using the Itch app itself to see if that helps.

You can press the "Download Now" button to grab the latest version. If there's any issues, there should be an option down the very bottom "I have already paid for this..", press that and follow the onscreen prompts.
After you download, extract and run! Saves carry over automatically!

This is something on Itchs end where if the download is paused, idles for too long or tabbed out, it can cause the forbidden error to pop up.
If the error persists, you can try heading over to our Patreon to download the latest free version (which has a few mirrors to choose from). You'll need a Patreon account, but it can be a free one!
Usually, if you can't get a certain quest to trigger or progress, there's another quest you might need to do that involves the character(s) of the stuck quest.
Try doing that and it should fix the overlapping triggers!
Do you end up in a dominant position similar to the beginning of the game or the tone after rae finds out youre not hot shit is that way the rest of the game

so I was getting to the end of what's in the free version and was in a dream sequence unlocked in the maze and I scrolled back to read a line accidentally I had clicked too early on and it just went black and wouldn't end, and since I hadn't saved since the start of the maze and there were no autosaves, I tried quick saving and loading hoping it would just end the scene but that made a save that just crashes the game, so idk exactly what causes it but you might wanna look into it, no crash log or anything as far as I can tell just not responding
Is there any way to increase my purchase price? I bought the game for $8 and I can have the upgrade now for $10. I tried to do a second purchase of a game because of this, and it just created 2 purchases of the same game. Had I known about the early access I would have paid a little more. Now it looks like its too late.
A genuinely impressive game with a unique story, full of diverse characters. All of which are consistent in their behaviours & actions. (Which should be expected, but quite a few Hollywood productions write characters who change personalities/motivations on a dime so "X" can happen, without justification).

I entered the university maze, encountered the plant, but the battle music continued through the entire maze, plus back at the house & into the next morning. I wasn't sure if it was meant as tense bg music or a bug until returning back to the house. Tried reloading, rebooting device but it persists.
- Fixed itself? As I typed this... - the battle music played through Cait's towel conversation, but the proper soundtrack returned after as I spawned in living room.
As for favourites, I appreciate how the different personalities play & bounce off eachother during the good & bad.
But my fav is Caitlin. Not usually into the shy type, but always a fan of kind & respectful women who aren't overly entitled.
Sometimes the music can outstay its intended trigger, but as you experienced it usually corrects itself! Glad everything is working, but if you run into any issues, feel free to drop a message and we'll do our best to sort it out o/

Hello! I would like to leave some words here. The first time around I was looking for an adult game to take my thoughts of some IRL issues and found myself on this page. Honestly I wasn't expecting a lot. Man did you overcome every expectation!
This game has a story so well written that I dare say it's in a class of it's own and I've seen almost all "NSFW" games Steam has to offer including many VNs. By the way, will you release it there? It would be nice.
What sets this game apart is that all the characters fell real, like really real. Please keep this up.
If I was in the main hero shoes, I'd marry Lyriel in a heartbeat you know and I'm not a young guy anymore and not saying it because of all the fun you can have with her (which is great), but also because of her personality that is so well written. It's a real feat you know. If only the main character could be a wee bit nicer to her sometimes, though I get that she kinda likes him the way he is. Hope to see more of their adventures in the coming versions :D
Oh you know, just the whole plot is intriguing. I really like how stories of the girls intertwine the more you move along the main story and how all the house inhabitants start to develop deeper bonds with each other over time.

You'll need to delete the "persistent" file both in the game folder and in your the Renpy folder.
Both are located in AHITR\Game\Saves and AppData\Roaming\RenPy\AHITR (both in the main folder here and "sync")
On Android you'll find it in "ahitr_storage" and inside the "sync" folder.
This should give you a clean gallery!

Are you able to continue your save file, by any chance?

Hello! I would like to leave some words here. The first time around I was looking for an adult game to take my thoughts of some IRL issues and found myself on this page. Honestly I wasn't expecting a lot. Man did you overcome every expectation!
This game has a story so well written that I dare say it's in a class of it's own and I've seen almost all "NSFW" games Steam has to offer including many VNs. By the way, will you release it there? It would be nice.
What sets this game apart is that all the characters fell real, like really real. Please keep this up.
If I was in the main hero shoes, I'd marry Lyriel in a heartbeat you know and I'm not a young guy anymore and not saying it because of all the fun you can have with her (which is great), but also because of her personality that is so well written. It's a real feat you know. If only the main character could be a wee bit nicer to her sometimes, though I get that she kinda likes him the way he is. Hope to see more of their adventures in the coming versions :D

Oh you know, just the whole plot is intriguing. I really like how stories of the girls intertwine the more you move along the main story and how all the house inhabitants start to develop deeper bonds with each other over time.
