Aaargh I just finished it (excellent game) and yet somehow there are still locked scenes. I wonder what they were? Also I'm very new to this-when I buy the new version, how do I save my save, if that makes sense?

There's only a few missable scenes (at the start in the park and when Rae first arrives) and a few later on (When you dream about the pool and can choose between the girls, best to make a save before this so you can see both play out) and (possibly when you dream of Lyriel being a slave, that has a few different endings) other than that everything else can be unlocked! (Some are tied to dreams).
The image gallery images, can be found with the secret items. Most of them tell you day and time, but a few are hidden ;)
Thankfully your saves carry over automatically to a new version! So all you gotta do is boot and play the new version!

Im confused. I just paid for the latest version. I verifiy its the latest version when loading. But the main girls all say "end of route for current version". Did I do something wrong? Id assume an update would equate to a continuing of their stories...?
AHITR has a main story and each of the main girls have their own personal stories too (all still in development of course). There's some side content/events too.
The story and well written characters is what got me interested in AHITR originally and it's only improved and expanded upon since then.
I'd recommend giving it a shot and hopefully you dig it. If not, would love to hear your feedback, good or bad.
A little worried that two of the files, ahitr-32 and a python script, are being flagged as viruses. I'm on windows and am assuming this is a false positive but I thought i'd better check because this game looks really good.
Are these bunny girl and maid outfits that are used in the update posts and on the side bars actually in the game? I've been playing for a while and getting caught up with 0.7.8 I haven't seen them.
Also, are there any plans to implement a costume system where we can tell the girls to wear outfits they have previously worn around the house? or is that already a thing and I just missed it?
the bunny outfits are mainly in the dream sequence (The Lounge) you can pick from your phone's Dream Pal app. id forgotten about that part of the phone menu for a long time. No idea about the maid outfits tho.
The bunny girl costumes are part of the Bunny Lounge dream that is available to everyone. You can access it through the Dream Pal app on your in-game phone.
The maid outfits for Lyriel belong to a bonus dream with her available for our Patrons, along with another bonus dream with Rae and Cait. You can find the bonus codes for the dream in this post https://rift.ink/3Tsqgnu
As to the costume system, we currently have no plans to implement that. Although there's a lot yet to come!

I really wanted to like this one but the orc and the dwarf girls are too ugly for me. Felt like a chore trying to do their stuff. Once I was just skipping text, I gave up.
Late reply, but most of the cast is fine. The demon is kinda vanilla main heroine, the mage is the shy type which can be fun as well, the elf is the dere which is always great and the pirate is the muscular girl boss type, which I guess some people like. I prefer both the elf and the demon girls, but nothing wrong with the other two.
The orc is kinda fine, but the teeth and the "do what you like and I won't even budge" was a turn off for me, but was bearable. As for the dwarf, she's too disproportional for me. I kept thinking she had some kind of facial deformity everytime I saw her face, so I wasn't even interested to know more about her.
And since you're kinda obligated to view everyone's story to progress, once I started skipping text, I decided it was enough. No reason to play VNs if you won't read. Maybe I could give it another chance in the future but that's it for now. I wish you the best nonetheless.
This game is one of my favorites in the AVN community, not sure what we call theses tbh but I love this game, the creator makes every woman feel important and I'm not even a fan of Sandbox games or whatnot but this is just a great game.

For the image gallery in your phone, most of them will tell you what day and time of the day the item can be found, its just a case of searching each of the rooms. There are some secret items too, but none of them are missable!
In regards to the scene replay, there's a few missable scenes at the start of the game (if you have, you can start a new game and just speed through to get them, they are within the first 0-30 mins of the game).
Lost and Found Part 7 (Potion minigame) also has some missable animations so its worth making a save before doing that event!

Hey, I've just stepped into the world of creating VN's, and I was wondering what art applications everyone uses in order to create the art for the games(BG, characters, etc)? Currently using Ren'Py to create the VN's, as I've heard good things about it.
There's a lot of programs/resources out there for you to help/advance on your game making journey!
Unity + Blender are a very popular combo for all things 3D related. As for the likes of image editing, while Adobe Photoshop and other programs within the Adobe tree are very popular, Adobe have some very questionable business practices lately, so I would suggest picking an image editor of your choosing. If you're looking for editing video files, DaVinci Resolve is one of the best programs for free right now!
Here's a list of stuff that's a good alternative to Adobe software:
Dose Any Body ealse have A problem with there last save not working with the New Version. My 7.8 File wont seem Carry over to 7.10 I just get an error message and brought back to the intro of the game. I'm on PC by the way.
Are you updating from high res to high res and or compressed to compressed? You can't mix and match.
Can you upload a screenshot of the error here on Itch in a reply? Also, could you upload your save file to a file sharing site (Mediafire, Google drive, etc anything will do.) and we can take a look.
Ok It seems to have Fixed It's self. I went back to see if i could get the error messeage and the save worked. This was after I decided to play a littile of the Intro again. I Think there just needed to be some save File data for it to carry over From 7.8 To 7.10. In this case the Auto saves; So that it wasn't loading The 7.8 by itself witch probably cause Problems. Or at least thats what I think Happend. So for anybody else That Might have had this issue if it directs you to the intro if you hit ignore play a bit and then see if you can use that save.
Hi, what do I do about the notions of space greyed out option when I select dream? Did I miss anything? Also, when will 7.9 and 7.10 be available for free?
You should be able to activate the space dream via the dreamer app on your ingame phone and then select it from the dream list.
The schedule is as follows for releases: The Alpha build of a new version is released at the start of each month. About a week later the Beta build is released. Then after another week the Early Access version is released. Then about a month later this version goes free and public.
This is the Patreon schedule, so it drops on Itch n everywhere else a bit later on.
I've actually reached the end of the game. I have no more quests. Nothing ignored. I do get the prompt but I can't click on the dialogue option because it's grey
So I've vaguely scoured through the comments and haven't found account about the "Alternative" quest for Lyriel. It's this just a repeatable quest or is there a finish line I'm so confused lol.
I prefer those moments when they are all together and I might favour Rae, Lyriel and I suppose Yona even if we haven't seen much, I can see her becoming a good character. Cait was a close one but I decited not to mention her as favourite.
In moments where they do stuff like forgetting to close the door, I always image a funny moment that doesn't end up happening sadly.
Finally got around to playing this game. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality. The dream events are quite fun as well (I'm hoping the "It's Full of Stars!" ship name is a reference to The Expanse as its quite an obscure name. Other than that very very enjoyable. I shall continue to explore this very well made VN.
By far Rae, love how flirty (and dirty minded she is) but her petite frame is just to die for. All the characters actually feel like characters in this game but she's my favorite. Definitely hope to see a lot more stuff with her, (still not done with the game yet). I will silently be hoping for more footjob stuff with her (and potentially other characters as well). Keep up the amazing work!

Yep! Once you place the new .rpa in the "game" folder, you can delete the old .rpa file.

There should be events for Cait and Blair. Reloading/Restarting your game can fix this. Also, does progressing time make any of these appear?

Some anti-virus programs can and will flag certain downloads as a false threat. If you are downloading from our official sources it is indeed safe!

If you're wondering how far you've progressed so far, you can check the quest log and head to the "completed" tab!

In most cases, doing other quests related to the involved character can activate these triggers so I would suggest doing that first and trying again!

You can backup your save file somewhere (Google Drive, your pc, send it via email etc, whatever works for you).
Save files are located in the "ahitr_storage" folder. I'd recommend backing up your persistent file too.
Download the save(s) on your new phone and move em to your "ahitr_storage" folder.
Should be good to go :)

All you have to do is download, extract and run. Your saves will carry over to the latest version automaticall.

Hi, what do I do about the notions of space greyed out option when I select dream? Did I miss anything? Also, when will 7.9 and 7.10 be available for free?

You should be able to activate the space dream via the dreamer app on your ingame phone and then select it from the dream list.
The schedule is as follows for releases: The Alpha build of a new version is released at the start of each month. About a week later the Beta build is released. Then after another week the Early Access version is released. Then about a month later this version goes free and public.
This is the Patreon schedule, so it drops on Itch n everywhere else a bit later on.

There's a greyed out option of "notions of space, you can try and reach for one." I don't know how to make that option available

I've actually reached the end of the game. I have no more quests. Nothing ignored. I do get the prompt but I can't click on the dialogue option because it's grey
So I've vaguely scoured through the comments and haven't found account about the "Alternative" quest for Lyriel. It's this just a repeatable quest or is there a finish line I'm so confused lol.

I prefer those moments when they are all together and I might favour Rae, Lyriel and I suppose Yona even if we haven't seen much, I can see her becoming a good character. Cait was a close one but I decited not to mention her as favourite.
In moments where they do stuff like forgetting to close the door, I always image a funny moment that doesn't end up happening sadly.
Finally got around to playing this game. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality. The dream events are quite fun as well (I'm hoping the "It's Full of Stars!" ship name is a reference to The Expanse as its quite an obscure name. Other than that very very enjoyable. I shall continue to explore this very well made VN.

By far Rae, love how flirty (and dirty minded she is) but her petite frame is just to die for. All the characters actually feel like characters in this game but she's my favorite. Definitely hope to see a lot more stuff with her, (still not done with the game yet). I will silently be hoping for more footjob stuff with her (and potentially other characters as well). Keep up the amazing work!

I put enough hours into it already but I assumed that's the chase, sadly i can't just buy about everything so I should have asked earlier.
Anyway, yes there are definitely some good ideas, then again something feels like it's missing for me, but i can't point my finger on.

downloaded the Mac version but all the scenes are still images, none of them are animated - what should I do?
