You can press the "Download Now" button to grab the latest version. If there's any issues, there should be an option down the very bottom "I have already paid for this..", press that and follow the onscreen prompts.
After you download, extract and run! Saves carry over automatically!
Currently the game doesn't have an official Chinese localization. Its not a priority right now, but something we'll have a look at or discuss further in the future.

This is something on Itchs end where if the download is paused, idles for too long or tabbed out, it can cause the forbidden error to pop up.
If the error persists, you can try heading over to our Patreon to download the latest free version (which has a few mirrors to choose from). You'll need a Patreon account, but it can be a free one!
Usually, if you can't get a certain quest to trigger or progress, there's another quest you might need to do that involves the character(s) of the stuck quest.
Try doing that and it should fix the overlapping triggers!
Do you end up in a dominant position similar to the beginning of the game or the tone after rae finds out youre not hot shit is that way the rest of the game

so I was getting to the end of what's in the free version and was in a dream sequence unlocked in the maze and I scrolled back to read a line accidentally I had clicked too early on and it just went black and wouldn't end, and since I hadn't saved since the start of the maze and there were no autosaves, I tried quick saving and loading hoping it would just end the scene but that made a save that just crashes the game, so idk exactly what causes it but you might wanna look into it, no crash log or anything as far as I can tell just not responding

I tried to do a second purchase of a game because of this, and it just created 2 purchases of the same game. Had I known about the early access I would have paid a little more. Now it looks like its too late.
A genuinely impressive game with a unique story, full of diverse characters. All of which are consistent in their behaviours & actions. (Which should be expected, but quite a few Hollywood productions write characters who change personalities/motivations on a dime so "X" can happen, without justification).

Thanks for the swift response, ironically I just experienced my 1st bug. (It just self corrected after an hour+ of gameplay, oddly).
I entered the university maze, encountered the plant, but the battle music continued through the entire maze, plus back at the house & into the next morning. I wasn't sure if it was meant as tense bg music or a bug until returning back to the house. Tried reloading, rebooting device but it persists.
- Fixed itself? As I typed this... - the battle music played through Cait's towel conversation, but the proper soundtrack returned after as I spawned in living room.
As for favourites, I appreciate how the different personalities play & bounce off eachother during the good & bad.
But my fav is Caitlin. Not usually into the shy type, but always a fan of kind & respectful women who aren't overly entitled.
Sometimes the music can outstay its intended trigger, but as you experienced it usually corrects itself! Glad everything is working, but if you run into any issues, feel free to drop a message and we'll do our best to sort it out o/

Hello! I would like to leave some words here. The first time around I was looking for an adult game to take my thoughts of some IRL issues and found myself on this page. Honestly I wasn't expecting a lot. Man did you overcome every expectation!

If I was in the main hero shoes, I'd marry Lyriel in a heartbeat you know and I'm not a young guy anymore and not saying it because of all the fun you can have with her (which is great), but also because of her personality that is so well written. The game is rendered in 1080p natively for both the high-res and compressed versions. The quality is lower for both images/videos in the compressed (and of course, file size) though you may not notice a difference depending on your screen size. Here's some example side by sides I put together real quick.
Are the days infinite? I'm asking bc i've played until Naomi showed up and now the quest book is full of quests, can i just do them in whatever order i want without worrying about losing content?
Correct, you can tackle the content in whatever timeframe you'd like, none of the quests will disappear until you finish them.
You might need to do some content in a certain order (sometimes there are overlapping triggers for characters, which means you might need to do some other quests to make another trigger correctly).

Iirc I had to use a file app to move the game folder into the launcher folder (which I'm pretty sure I had to redo at least once to get it right lmao). The new download is a folder as its own separate thing. So you can boot the game up, your saves will automatically sync over and you can delete the old folder.

We currently have no reports of the dreams causing issues, but corrupt downloads can cause some content to be missing/not playing properly. It can also be down to the individual device too. You can try changing the renderer (Shift + G), save and restart the game.
If that doesn't work, I'd recommend a possible clean installation/reinstall and see if it helps!
I'm stuck on day 2 Wednesday Night it tells me i cant go to sleep yet but once i try to leave out the room its say no reason to roam the at night i don't know what to do.
If you showered early game you'll be soft locked. This was a bug that was fixed for 0.7.16r4 - You'll either need to reload a save or start a new game!

You'll need to delete the "persistent" file both in the game folder and in your the Renpy folder.
Both are located in AHITR\Game\Saves and AppData\Roaming\RenPy\AHITR (both in the main folder here and "sync")
On Android you'll find it in "ahitr_storage" and inside the "sync" folder.
This should give you a clean gallery!

Sorry to hear you've bumped into this error. Sometimes saving during events/cutscenes can cause the game to stall/crash.
Are you able to continue your save file, by any chance?
I can still load the quicksave from the start of the maze, so once I'm willing to replay like 20-30 minutes of stuff I can get back to where I was

If you're updating, you can place the new .rpa file into the "game" folder shown in the guide, and the delete the old .rpa before booting up!
Saves will carry over automatically, but you can find your saves in "ahitr_storage" if you want to make a manual back up!
