Yeah I go to sleep and then the dream starts with the intro of meeting her in the hallway and then after that the screen goes black audio cuts off but the text still goes.

Question for the dev- out of all the girls you made for A House On The Rift which one was the most difficult to create in terms of looks, personality, etc?

You can just run the latest version of the game and it'll transfer your saves over automatically!
Alternatively, you can find your saves in AHITR/Game/Saves!
What happens if i download the latest version and delete the last version? In andrio
That would be the recommended way of updating. Placing the new .rpa and deleting the old.

How do I access the Eurydice dream? I got it in the maze, but it doesn't appear as an option while sleeping or in Dreamer Pro Plus.

okay I have tried several times to get the "deluge of Melancholy" potion right, and yet everytime it fails, and it's kind of starting to annoy me. Ive had no problems with the potionbrewing so far but with this one its just not working. Is this covered in a guide somewhere?
Also loving the updates. I hadnt checked in for a couple of months, so there's a lot of new stuff to enjoy :)

I downloaded the game on android and its asking me for permission to my photos, videos, audios and music. May I ask why?

This allows the launcher to install/unpack the game files without issue. Without the necessary permissions the game won't install correctly.

Your saves should be located in AHITR/Game/Saves. There's also a backup that's synced in: Appdata/Roaming/Renpy/AHITR
Android is in: Internal Storage > Documents > ahitr_storage
Can you see if those locations have any saves?

There was a Spanish fan translation a few years ago, but it hasn't been updated in a long time and is very much out of date. Down the road we would like to have a few languages in the game, however it'll most likely be machine translated if we did pursue translations.

Have you completed Lost and Found Part 7? That's the initial quest that unlocks the set!
Honestly, I'm not sure. I think the last one in that chain I completed was the magic wand. What triggers the next quest in that series? I have zero quests in my journal at the moment. Do I maybe have to wait for another snap?
Can you check your completed quests for me? In the quest log there should be a "done" tab which will show all the completed quests you've done.
Yeah, looks like the last lost and found I finished was pt.5
So Lost and Found 6 should appear in your journal after a while, if you can progress a bunch of days in game it should appear. If not, please let me know!

The release schedule is:
The Alpha build of a new version is released at the start of each month. About a week later the Beta build is released. Then after another week the Early Access version is released. Then about a month later this version goes free and public.
This is the Patreon schedule, it goes free elsewhere, like Itch, later on.

This was a bug that should've been fixed a few versions ago. What version are you currently on?
Not being able to sleep on the second night is tied to showering early, you'll either need to roll back, reload a save or start a new game file!

The main game doesn't have any voice acting/lewd sounds, but we do a dream that has voice acting and another with lewd sounds!
It isn't a top priority right now but we test/discuss voice/lewd sounds every so often.

if you're talking about the moment when it needs to be fought, then yes I did.
Can you drop your save here, please? You can upload your save to any file sharing site (Google Drive, MEGA, Mediafire etc - Just make sure its not set to private) and post the link here.
Your saves will be located in the AHITR folder (AHITR/Game/Saves) and will look something like 1-1-LT1.save.
well I would really like to send you my save, but I don't have a save folder.
That's odd. There should also be a back up folder in: Appdata/Roaming/Renpy/AHITR
On Android:

I think the blanks are grinding platinum; the mystery element is copper. You heat it twice and stir it, I think. I could be wrong

heey so i was playing on 7.15 on my phone
i downloaded 7.18 on my pc and moved my files from mobile to pc
my save progress is there but my scene gallery has been rested to default i.e has been cleared
is there anyway through which i can get back my scene gallery of my mobile version

Sometimes the gallery doesn't transfer over unfortunately, even if you've moved the persistent file. You may have to create a new save file and go through the scenes again.

We have a patch system over on our Patreon. Where it updates the game from X version to X.
You can have a look here:

You can search for "free" in the search box and it'll give you a list of all the free versions.
(You can only patch the high-res version with the high-res patch, and compressed with compressed, you can't mix and match. The patch system only works for the PC version of AHITR).

After "unlocking" all the dream sequences added in the latest version by checking the correct question marks I have only experienced one of them.
Do I need to do something special to get the other ones or is it just RNG?

So, i had to format my pc recently but i kept the saves folder in a backup cloud, do i just install it again and move it to the "game" folder like other similar games?

You can indeed just drop the game folder into the game directory! (Or you can drop the saves directly into "AHITR\Game\Saves".)

Your saves will carry over automatically to the next version! All you have you to do is boot the game up and it'll sync!
If you ever want to make a manual backup, you can find your saves in "AHITR\Game\Saves".

Question for dev: If we buy the premium version on itch, is it ok to ask for access to the patron code for the dreamscape? Its understandable if that a specific incentive for patreon, but id kick myself if i didnt ask.

No harm in asking! The Patreon codes are exclusive for Patreon backers, so the only way to grab those codes would be to back the game over there.

I'm trying to finish the photo gallery on the phone and dont know where Rae's pool photo can be found and what time, and I also cant find lyriels maid photo. they dont have descriptions when i can find them like the others and would like some help!
Pool photos (of all the girls) can be found after you bring the pool to the house and finish the side quests. Maid photo, try the maid dream of Lyriel.
I'm on android, how do I launch the game? I die loaded both android things, and shoved the bigger one in the file it tells me to put it. But if I try to launch the game I get stuck on the loading screen.

The loading can take sometime initially and will vary device to device. Make sure the permissions for the launcher are correct and you can even try reinstalling the launcher and trying again.
Additionally, if your .rpa/download is corrupted it can cause issues with launching. I'd recommend redownloading the .rpa and trying again!
